I would personally like to thank everyone who took
part in the Annual Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund
October Charity Weekend. Your generous support and donations have
helped the CKDCF organization raise a record amount of money for
children's health and education!
A special thank you to all of our friends from around
the world, including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Ireland, and
the United States, who traveled all the way to Cumbria to participate
in the fantastic weekend of events. Also, a big thank you to our
Cumbrian friends, businesses, and volunteers for contributing their
invaluable time and support.
The weekend was an incredible success with sold out
concerts, 60 golfers in the golf competition and over 70 people
who forged the rainy weather to complete the 6-mile walk around
beautiful Ennerdale Lake. For those of you who participated in the
Sponsored Walk, please remember to gather and submit your donations
and Official Sponsorship Form no later than November 30, 2006. All
checks should be made payable to C.K.D.C.F and please send all forms
and donations to:
CKDCF, Meadow Brook, Dent Road, Egremont, Thornhill,
Cumbria, CA22 2RU, UK
With your support, the Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery
Children's Fund organization continues to grow helping to benefit
children's health and educational needs. To reflect this continued
growth, the CKDCF web site will undergo many changes over the next
few months. We will be adding a CKDCF Mailing List, a Merchandise
page where you can purchase CKDCF t-shirts, mugs and more, an On-line
Auction where you can bid on many great items such as signed soccer
jerseys and pictures, as well as a Volunteer page with listings
of ways you can help and join the CKDCF team. For your convenience,
we will also offer an On-line Donation page where you can submit
donations on-line safely and securely.
I would like to thank you again for all of your support
and interest in the Charlie and Katlheen Dunnery Children's Fund.
Keep checking this space and www.ckdcf.org for more exciting news
and events!!
Sincerely,
Francis Dunnery, November 2006
