NARDELLI PLAYS CKDCF WEEKEND
Steve Nardelli is confirmed for the CKDCF event in Egremont Cumbria. Nardelli is the founding member of Progressive Rock pioneers 'The Syn' which he started in the 60s with 'Yes' bassist and Hell Raiser Chris Squire. Nardelli, who is currently in the process of recording the latest 'Syn' album
with Francis Dunnery, Tom Brislin and Echolynn drummer Paul Ramsey, is very keen to showcase some of the new tracks at the CKDCF event. Dunnery explains "Hanging out with Steve Nardelli is a blast because he's all over the place! He has so much Gemini energy it's hard even for me to keep up with him! One minute he's writing lyrics in my basement and two minutes later he's on the phone to UK Politician Boris Johnson talking about housing projects for the UK government. I'm delighted that he is going to support our event although you may have to be quick if you want to talk to him". Steve is currently in Dubai with Justin Fashnu? |

| friends as 'Soni' is a big fan of John and Wayne and couldn't pass up the opportunity to hear them perform. If I can help to raise some money for the charity AND get to see John and Wayne then that's definitely worth a plane ticket from South Carolina". Sonefeld has just finished a Tour of the USA with Hootie and the Blowfish and is currently preparing to promote his debut solo album. SQUEEZE MY MELON
Dominic Beaumont
Chris Difford will be performing a few acoustic songs at the CKDCF event. Difford was one of the first artists to record a CD for Aquarian Nation and has since been touring the world |
| with his old songwriting partner Glen Tilbrook and the other members of Squeeze. "I love Difford" said Dunnery "He's like one of those fantastic butterflies that you can't quite seem to keep hold of! Just when you think you can put him in your glass jar he flies away and leaves you depressed. Then, six months later, right out of the blue you receive an email that says something like "Meet me in Guatemala at 3.pm at the Nancy boys hotel" and then everything is back to normal, like he's never been away. I'm very, very happy that Difford is coming, I may even twist his arm and get him to sing Cool for Cats!" |
